Officially Back in Promise!

I am officially back in Promise! As a Promise Counselor, I have had the opportunity to support students as they prepare for their upcoming semesters at CSM, while also assisting others with their transfer goals. My responsibilities also include attending monthly program meetings to stay informed about updates and collaborating with the Promise Retention Specialist Team to ensure our students receive the support and resources they need to succeed.

Additionally, I have had the opportunity to backfill for Doris and attend past Promise graduations, celebrating the accomplishments of our scholars. I also attended the Promise Convening, where Promise Scholars programs from across campuses came together to share successes, review program statistics, and participate in a dope workshop focused on personal shifts and how they can create collective change. It was inspiring to hear about the work happening at other campuses and to come together as a community to celebrate our collective impact and continue learning from one another.
